Meet the Editors
Ashley Hearn
Ashley Hearn is an acquisitions editor at Peachtree Publishing. Her authors have earned starred reviews in Kirkus, Booklist, School Library Journal, Shelf Awareness, and Book Page, and have received numerous commercial and literary recognitions including a William Morris Award nomination and inclusion on TIME’s list of “Best Fantasy Novels of All Time” for Woven in Moonlight. Former mentees and clients include #1 New York Times bestselling author Tomi Adeyemi (Children of Blood and Bone), New York Times bestselling author Adalyn Grace (All the Stars and Teeth), and Alexis Henderson (The Year of the Witching). When she steps away from her desk, she can be found wandering the North Georgia mountains, armchair-quarterbacking for the Green Bay Packers, or haunting a local coffee shop. Find her on Twitter @AshleyHearn or Instagram @_AshleyHearn.
Jonah Heller
Jonah Heller is a senior editor at Peachtree Publishing Company Inc. The talented authors and illustrators he has partnered with have garnered numerous accolades across picture book, middle grade, and young adult audiences. Jonah actively seeks empathetic, literary voices with commercial appeal and gravitates toward narratives that feature cathartic arcs of change. When he’s not fine-tuning language and character, he can be found gallivanting through the wilderness or pretending to have a green thumb.
Zoie Konneker
Zoie Janelle Konneker (she/her) is an editorial assistant at Peachtree Publishing in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Literature, Media, & Communication in 2020. From the summer of 2020 to the winter of 2021, she worked as a Cat Foster Coordinator at a metro-Atlanta animal shelter and attributes her love for animals and color-coded spreadsheets to her time there. She currently acquires fiction across picture book, middle grade, and young adult audiences. Her goal is to leave the world a better place than she found it through elevating underrepresented voices in children’s literature and putting relatable, relevant stories in the hands of those that need them most. Find her on Twitter @zoiejanelle or on Instagram @zoie.janelle.
